Our carers are chosen via a rigorous recruitment process. This involves interview and references as well as vetting via the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). Before commencing care in the community our carers go through our company induction program and a period of work shadowing where they are supervised by more senior members of staff. All our care staff complete the care certificate. We support and encourage our staff to achieve nationally recognised qualifications such as National Diploma in Health and Social Care. All our staff are trained all mandatory training in:
Diversity, Equality and Inclusion
Health and Safety
Nutrition and Diet
Safe Administration of Medicine
Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults
Moving and Handling
Use of company pool car, if yours breakdown.
Uniform and all personal protective equipment (PPE) provided
